Toyota RAV4 supports Apple CarPlay that lets you access your iPhone apps like iTunes, Google Maps, Waze and Spotify through the infotainment screen of your vehicle. You can also make phone calls, send messages or use navigation with voice commands using Siri. Toyota RAV4 – (photo by Toyota) Enable CarPlay and Siri on iPhone You must have iPhone 5 or newer device with iOS or newer version to use Apple CarPlay on Toyota RAV4. Before you begin, ensure CarPlay and Siri are enabled on your iPhone. Also, make sure that the “Press Home for Siri” option is enabled under “Siri & Search” in settings. If you can’t see CarPlay or Siri & Search under your iPhone settings, then go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps, and make sure both CarPlay and Siri & Search are enabled. Which RAV4 models support CarPlay? 2019 and later model year Toyota RAV4 vehicles are compatible with Apple CarPlay. Using Google Maps on Toyota RAV4 with CarPlay If your iPhone has iOS 14+ operating system, you can freely use Google Maps in Apple CarPlay on your RAV4. Apple now allows the use of Google Maps in the home screen. Apple has allowed the competitor’s map service in its car application since iOS 12, but the homescreen that was newly introduced in iOS 13 in 2019 could not yet be equipped with maps. Using Waze navigation on Toyota RAV4 with CarPlay You can use Waze navigation app in CarPlay if you have iOS 12 or higher operating system installed on your iPhone. Just add “on Spotify” at the end so that Siri knows which service you’re referring to ( “Hey, Siri, play my ‘Your Mix of the Week’ playlist on Spotify”). Siri can play songs, artists, albums, playlists, podcasts, and more. You can also “like” music, ask what’s playing, and control playback ( volume, skip song, play / pause). Do not disturb while driving When driving, keep your eyes on the road. A quick look at the navigation device is of course allowed in order not to miss the next junction. The “Do not disturb while driving” function can be activated so that your iPhone does not distract you with unnecessary notifications while driving your RAV4. iOS 13 extends this option to CarPlay as well. On your iPhone go to Settings > Do Not Disturb, then scroll down and touch “Activate” under “Do not disturb while driving”. Sort apps in CarPlay You can sort CarPlay apps in your RAV4 quickly and easily through your iPhone. To do this, go to Settings > General > CarPlay, then select your vehicle under “MY CARS”. On the next screen you can rearrange app icons by touching and dragging them. You can also hide icons by touching the minus button on them. Rearranging apps in Apple Carplay Not all apps are compatible with CarPlay If you think you can use all your iPhone apps in your Toyota RAV4 with CarPlay, then you’re wrong. The selection of compatible applications is limited, and you have to live with restrictions, especially with messenger apps. iMessage and WhatsApp can be controlled almost exclusively via Siri. That means you cannot see your message history, but only have new messages read out to you or even dictate messages yourself. Zapisane Witam Udało się w końcu połączyć przez mirrorlinka kolega MALE podpowiedział i zadziałało sprawa dotyczy samsungów Jeśli masz Samsunga, to wejdź w Ustawienia -> Aplikacje. Potem kliknij guzik menu i zaznacz "Pokaż aplikacje systemowe". Znajdź na liście aplikację "Samsung Mirror Link kliknij ją aby otworzyć szczegóły. Kliknij na "Domyślna pamieć" i potem "Wyczyść dane" i/lub "Wyczyść pamięć". W mnie na Samsungu S8 też miałem pustą listę aplikacji w samochodzie (czarny ekran) i to pomogło. Musisz mieć oczywiście zainstalowane aplikacje obsługujące MirrorLink, np. "Sygic Car Connected Nawigacja - Mapy Offline". Trzeba uważać, bo Sygic ma więcej niż jedną nawigację i tylko ta jedna działa przez MirrorLink. Narazie działa na samsungu A5 i A7 Zapisane I na samsungu galaxy s6 edge Zapisane Dołożę Samsung nic nie ma w tym ML Wysłane z mojego SM-G950F przy użyciu Tapatalka Zapisane Samsung A8 z ML też działa. Nie próbowałem w czasie jazdy. Zapisane Zastawa, Polonez, Palio Weekend, Corolla Verso, Auris 2 TS Witam, czy komuś udało się odpalić Mirrorlink przez telefon huawei mate 20 pro??Aplikacja LG MirrorDrive w ogóle nie odpala, co oczywiście Zapisane Polecam floating apps. Jest płatna ale dzięki niej można używać innych dotychczas niedostępnych aplikacji jak mapy Google. Mam tez Sygic Premium i w sumie tez spoko jeśli ktoś chce mieć np head up display lub inne dodatkowe funkcje. If I switch off Bluetooth on the phone while running Google Maps, the Maps audio directions work from the phone. If I switch it back on, the audio is lost. Suggestions? Apple CarPlay will not launch in RAV4 after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you haven’t allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to ‘Allow CarPlay While Locked’. No Android Auto, No Carplay in RAV4 2019 Europe / Netherlands. I'm new on this forum. I am currently in the process of buying a RAV4. Hybrid in the Netherlands. Personally I'm not impressed about the standard NAV system in the RAV4, however nowadays all manufacturers offer Android Auto or Apple Carplay to use google maps / waze in the car LDLq7.
